Okay, I guess I need to write something about myself. I am rather new at this and I don't want to write something cheesy. I have read many differnet people's description of themselves and I feel like I am reading a broken record. Not that it is not interesting, it is just the same old thing. Yes, I like to laugh and make my friends laugh. Yes, I like to hang out with my friends. Yes, I like to go on walks. Yes, I like to... well you get the picture. I don't know what to say except I'm normal. I am a hard working person who probably puts way more into my job than I'm getting out of it. I don't do drugs, other than smoking. I know, I know, I know it is a horrible habit. I don't smoke in my house at least.
I have dogs, and if we get to know each other you will come to realize that they are my children. They sometimes are the only ones who love me 100%. I can have a crappy day and they are ALWAYS happy to see me.
I own my own house, my own car (payed for), live paycheck to paycheck, I don't have any credit cards (couldn't afford them even if I did), I hate to pull weeds (yuck), damn HOA's.
I play women's football (not normal), I have been playing for 8 years. I love it. What a great stress reliever. Besides, I get to hit woman who don't think I'm cute (just kidding), I get to hit them because they have the football. I also participate in the Highland games. I'm sure if you have read this far you are saying what are those? Well, most people know it as the sport where you throw the telephone pole. That is called the caber. I had a friend introduce me to it a few years ago. It is much like track, which I did in college. You know shot put, discus and hammer.
I'm normal. I'm looking for new friends and eventually dates. I would love to meet someone to hang out with, preferably someone who lives close to me. I want to go to the Renisance Festival, Pride, the Arburetum (sp?), the zoo, someone to watch L Word with, etc.
Don't just look at me and see a large lady. See a person who is just looking for the same dang thing you are. I hope to hear from you soon. A good friend told me recently, "You can never have to many friends." I hope we become friends and who knows what else.
