Naked Leonardo DiCaprio and Venus Williams! Michelle Obama "whitey" video found!Posted January 09th, 2009 at 09:02pm
Before I even mention that Bilerico Project has been nominated for Best LGBT Blog, have you all seen those naked photos of Leonardo DiCaprio and Venus Williams? (Click to enlarge and get rid of the censor boxes!)
Don't forget to vote for Bilerico Project in the 2008 Weblog Awards! We're obviously the best LGBT blog out there since we have so many diverse contributors. Most of you are American, so you'll understand when I say "bigger is better." The contributors on this site are great writers, the commenters help create a good discussion, and the editors do a lot of work to maintain this site. Voting Bilerico recognizes all of the work and thought we put into this project. I learn new things all the time from the commenters and contributors, and I'm sure you do too. What else do I have to do to get you to click this link? Vote Bilerico for Best LGBT BlogPosted January 05th, 2009 at 05:30pm
We're a finalist for the 2008 Weblog Awards in the Best LGBT Blog category. The Weblog Awards are the #1 awards ceremony for blogs; it's an honor to be nominated for the second year in a row. Last year we came in second place; out of 10,000 votes cast, we lost by a few votes. This year I want to win!! How can you help as a Projector? Glad you asked! #1 - Tell your friends to vote for us. Send them an e-mail that lets them know we're up for an award on Bilerico Project. Link them to bilerico.com and ask them to visit and check us out. There is a link and graphic at the top of the page to vote for us all week in the middle column. #2 - Each day the Ed Team will post a new entry asking folks to vote for us. Post those entries to your Facebook page, Tweet it, or use any of the other social networking pages to help spread the word. Learn from Stonewall 2.0 and go grassroots! #3 - If you're a blogger, please post about our nomination and ask people to vote for us. And, of course, vote for us! You can vote once every 24 hours, so be sure to return each day this week to cast your ballot. The entire Bilerico family would appreciate your votes and your willingness to help promote Bilerico Project's nomination for Best LGBT Blog. We've worked our butts off to make TBP one of the top queer blogs in the nation and to highlight diverse voices from our community. Thanks for all of the hard work you've put into Bilerico Project too. With your help, we can pull this off and get the recognition you all deserve. Let's pull out all the stops and take home the trophy! Voting is open now and continues until Monday, January 12 at 5pm EST. Be sure to keep letting your friends and readers know about the contest until voting closes! And be sure to spread the request online! Can you help us to cinch the win this year? Yours, Bil ![]() EXCLUSIVE: Interview with Obama's Deputy Campaign ManagerPosted October 06th, 2008 at 03:07pm
I recently had the chance to talk to Steve Hildebrand, the Deputy Campaign Manager for the Obama Campaign and the highest ranking gay staffer for the campaign.
The full interview, with discussion ranging from LGBT voter outreach to Anti-Gay Marriage Amendments to a fully-inclusive ENDA, after the jump. Continue reading "EXCLUSIVE: Interview with Obama's Deputy Campaign Manager" » Blue Days RoundupPosted September 21st, 2008 at 03:09pm
It's been a rough week. Government bailouts, corporate bankruptcies . . . it's depressing! Here are some posts that will help you take your mind off of all the bad financial news. Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Get Your Roundup OnPosted September 14th, 2008 at 02:48pm
There are so many firsts in a gal's life . . . first kiss, first prom, first pair of Manolos . . . This week Sarah Palin had her first solo media interview. And just like that first kiss, it was a little awkward. Too bad it wasn't nearly as fun! Anyhoo, enough catty chatter. I mention great firsts, because many of our new contributors had great firsts posts this week. Be sure to check them out if you missed them! Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Top 13 Best Sarah Palin Funny VideosPosted September 13th, 2008 at 08:59pm
While progressives are - understandably - concerned about the small bounce Sarah Palin's nomination as the Republican vice presidential candidate has given the McCain campaign, I have to wonder if she won't end up the laughing stock of America. The republicans seem determined to raise the specter of Dan Quayle with her propensity to come off as a bumbling idiot after they shoved her into the national spotlight without adequate vetting or preparation. And so the internet amateurs, talk show hosts, and late night comics have been drawn like bees to a morning glory. The pillory has been erected and the people are armed with tomatoes. A collection of a dozen other funny Palin videos after the jump. |
