All Lost Things Now Available!

Posted November 11th, 2009 at 07:19pm

I’m very pleased to announce that All Lost Things is now available for purchase!

You can order signed copies on my website, or buy it from any online store. As always, I encourage you to support your local independent booksellers first and foremost, though!

The first review is in as well, and the site also ran an indepth interview with yours truly.

New Books Coming Soon!

Posted November 22nd, 2008 at 05:15am

GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! (Bonus points if you get the cartoon reference...)

It's official! All Lost Things, the next Killian Kendall Mystery and the third in the series, will be released from PD Publishing next year. The tentative release date is July 2009. PD Publishing also republished Bleeding Hearts and Reap the Whirlwind earlier this year.

That's not all, though. The next two Killian Kendall books are scheduled to follow in roughly six month intervals after that, meaning you'll see not one, but two books in 2010! The Truth of Yesterday should come out in early 2010 with A Change of Worlds following in the fall.

But wait, there's more! A revamped version of Breaking Masks is scheduled for release in 2011!

How awesome is that? Some good news for a change! Perfect timing... See my website for more details! www.joshaterovis.com

BOOK TOUR!!

Posted May 22nd, 2008 at 09:31pm

Hey guys! Guess what? I'm going on tour! Well... sort of.

Do two appearances make a tour? No? Well, how about if I'm still working on lining up some more? Can I call it a mini-tour at least? I'm calling it a book tour because I think it sounds exciting. LOL

I'll be appearing with fellow authors Brian Sloan and Nico Medina on Saturday, June 14th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Giovanni's Room in Philadelphia, PA. We'll each be doing a brief reading from our latest books, signing your copies, and between the readings and the signing, there will be a Q&A session. Brian, Nico and I will also be appearing at the Borders in Stafford, Virginia on June 19 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

For those of you not familiar with Brian and Nico, they are both up-and-coming gay YA authors.

Brian Sloan is also a film writer/director and has made such movies as WTC View starring Michael Urie (Marc St. James on Ugly Betty). Brian will be reading from his new book A Really Nice Prom Mess. High school senior Cameron Hayes gets coerced into going to the prom with a girl, even though he'd rather be with his boyfriend. The evening goes from bad to worse when his fake date gets sloshed, his boyfriend slugs him when he sees Cam kissing his fake date, and Cam flees the prom in disguise with a drug dealer. Then things really spin out of control. Over the course of one harrowing and hysterical night, Cameron's life comes undone, leading to accidental revelations, criminal adventures, and an unlikely romance.

Nico Medina is a 25-year-old professional copy editor and YA novelist. His first book, The Straight Road to Kylie, was well-received. He lives in New York City with his boyfriend of six years, Billy. Nico will be reading from his new book Fat Hoochie Prom Queen. Margarita "Madge" Diaz is fat, foxy, and fabulous. She loves herself, and is adored by almost everyone else...except queen bee/student-body president Bridget Benson. These two girls have a history that's uglier than a drag queen after last call. During a heated argument, they decide there's only one way to end their rivalry: be named prom queen and the other backs off -- for good. Of course, everything looks different in the sober light of morning, but pride is at stake and the race is on. Madge is committed to doing whatever it takes to secure the title, but so is Bridget. And everyone's got something to hide.

If you live in either of these areas, please come out and see us, and be sure to bring your questions! Hope to see you there.

Wanna be a detective?

Posted May 22nd, 2008 at 09:28pm

Do you have a detective fantasy? Ever wished you could be Killian? Well, here's your chance! (Sort of...)

For the month of June, Rainbow Reviews is hosting a literary scavenger hunt. Various authors will be hiding a small graphic somewhere on their site. Hunters will have to search the sites of the participating authors (who are listed on the Rainbow Reviews site) and find all the graphics. Just visit each site, find the graphic, and send ONE email listing all of the links where you found the graphic to scavenge@rainbow-reviews.com. You must have one link from each author to complete the scavenger hunt. The links in your email must go directly to the pages where you found the graphic. Any incomplete emails will be disqualified. On June 30th, the winners will be announced one for each book we're giving away! I will be one of the participating authors. If you'd like to enter, or want more information.

Check it out on their site at http://rainbow-reviews.com/?page_id=277

Books available!

Posted January 09th, 2008 at 07:22pm

My first two books, Bleeding Hearts and Reap the Whirlwind are once again available for purchase. You can get signed copied directly from me at my website, you can get them from your local bookstore (you may have to ask them to order it for you), or you can order it online. It's very newly available (I haven't even received my first shipment yet), so not all online stores have it listed yet. If your store of choice doesn't have it on their website, give it a few days or contact them. Signed copies are only available through my website.

To order signed copies, or to find out more about the books, click on the links below.
