Okay, so I came here because I am looking to network and get my novel sold to more peeps. i am an unabashed book pusher and I suppose I ought to feel bad for it, but I don't.
When our independent bookstores closed, they took with them the shelves where our books was sat, waiting to be gobbled up by readers who understood that they were doing more than supporting an author or a bookstore, but a way of life.
I miss that life.
Borders and barnes and Nobles can put whatever they want on their shelves, and I guran-damn-tee you, it's not chick lit or lesbian erotica!
So that brings me to back to why I'm here. I am not here to get a girlfriend (my lovely wife would have a problem with that). I am here to see if I can find ways to get people to buy my books, to talk about writing, to network with readers and writers alike.
I hope I've come to the right place....it sure feels right.
