3:47 am....and can't sleep!

Ugh...it's almost 4am and I'm looking at people's profiles and pictures on Glee. You know, this "feature" on Glee where people can tell that you've looked at their Page? I don't care much for it lol. I mean...if I wanna' be nosy and look at peoples pictures....or read their profiles...how can I do it anonymously? How can I just snoop?? On the other hand, it's kind of fun to see who has looked at my page because then I want to look at THEIR page lol. Whatever...I think I'm rambling because I'm delirious and sleep deprived. It's probably not the best time to write a blog huh? Well...I guess I'll continue checking people out until I get sleepy again.

Writing

Posted May 25th, 2008 at 04:02pm

For the past several weeks I've experienced really bad writer's block. I think it has something to do with work and all the crap going on there. It's hard being a boss and at times no fun at all. Anyway that's neither here nor there. I'm just glad that I feel like writing something! anything! The wheels are slowly creaking but at least there's some movement! Woohoo! :)

Now that I'm awake....

Alright...I'm new to Glee and I think it's a great idea but I have one teeny gripe. Everytime I use a word that references genitalia...even in a humorous way...my text gets changed to @#%$%$.

When I wanted to describe my sculpture..even in the context of artistic terms...I was censored. Bleh.

What's up with that? Maybe I shouldn't gripe too much or they'll make me read the terms of service agreement (Gasps!). I don't read manuals or much legalese for the most part. Maybe this is a sign that I SHOULD!.

Bottom line to Dylynn...BEHAVE!

Waking Up With Gadget Lust

Posted April 06th, 2008 at 03:19pm

It's Sunday morning and I'm still trying to wake up. So what I'm writing is just bascially a stream of consciousness or unconsicousness. You decide :)

First thing I did when I got up was make myself some decaf coffee. I can't drink regular so I'm stuck with having to pretend that when I drink it it's helping me wake up. I guess you could call it "placebo" coffee...it has the same effect as regular coffee, for me at least.

This morning instead of hopping on the internet, like I normally do EVERY morning, I grabbed my brand new cellphone. Now first of all, you need to understand that I am a gadget slut. I LOVE, LOVE practically everything electronic. I have been lusting for a Verizon Voyager phone for awhile and now finally have one :) It is the coolest thing! I can watch tv, text message, listen to music, watch videos, news, LOGO (yes!), check my email, play with the calendar and calculators. It has a GPS navigation system on it too and so many other things I'll soon discover on my own because I don't read manuals. Oh, and I can call people on it.

So now that I have this cool little gadget of course I must accessorize. This desire to "accessorize" is really a veiled excuse to shop on Ebay, another of my many vices. There is just something about shopping that gives me a thrill. Anyway, so now that I can watch tv and videos on my new phone, I think I need to buy a stereo headphone adapter for my Bose earbuds (Bose earbuds are the best! Once you go Bose you never go back to what you had before). While I'm taking a break in my office, waiting in the doctor's office, or sitting next to my partner at any kind of sporting event, I can be the selfish bitch that I am and play and listen to my new toy all to myself.

Alright, I'm either getting sleepy or boring myself (and probably you). I think I'm going to crawl back in bed...yawn.
