AWNY 2008 Fund-raiser @ Turtle Bay, April 17

Posted March 13th, 2008 at 02:02am

The JPMorgan Chase AIDS Walk Committee has organized an open-bar fund-raiser featuring JPMC AIDS Walk Committee members as guest bartenders:

Date: Thursday, April 17, 2008
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Turtle Bay, 2nd Ave between 52nd and 53rd (we have reserved the upstairs room)
Cost: $15 donation at the door - includes a drink voucher, raffle ticket, and access to drink specials ($3 drafts, $5 margaritas, cosmos, and appletinis) and appetizers

We'll be selling raffle tickets for great prizes. You'll need to come to the bar for more info!

Turtle Bay will donate a portion of the guest bartenders tips and your entrance donation to AIDS Walk, so you can drink and donate at the same time!!!

If you have additional questions on how to get involved with AIDS Walk NY and/or the JPMorgan Chase team, please contact AWNY_2008@jpmchase.com.

AIDS Walk 2008

This is my fourth year doing the AIDS Walk to honor women living with AIDS. Please follow this link to show us some luv: http://aidswalknewyork2008.kintera.org/marialapachet. You can either donate or join our team (simply go to my team's page and then click on Join Team).

Did you know... In the early years of the HIV epidemic, most believed that women could not get HIV. The number of adolescent and adult women living with AIDS has tripled in the last decade. Today HIV/AIDS is the fifth leading cause of death for women ages 25-44.
