New update as of May '08... I'm definitely a "people person." I am
also very interested in current events, etc. I love long,
intelligent conversations about issues of the day. Professionally,
I am an actor (in L.A.? Surprise!!) who is working toward that
being my sole career. Right now it's a partnership between acting
and personal training. Till May 17th, I'm playing the Jamaican
bartender in a world premiere play called "Biking With Andrew
Scott", at Write Act Rep in Hollywood. Let me know if you're into
theatre and I'll give you the info so you can come see it. Really
good show! As for film, I have a small role as an SEC agent in the
comedy feature "Expecting Love" with Joshua Leonard (Blair Witch),
Robert Forster (Jackie Brown), and Liz Torres (Gilmore Girls) that
has done well in Poland and I recently got to see as part of the
Polish Film Festival here in L.A.! The film takes place in Warsaw
and L.A., is mostly in English, but has some Polish parts with
subtitles. And I really enjoyed it. When it gets U.S. distribution,
I'll let you know. A short film I did last year called "Love Is
Love", in which I play the bartender, is still making the festival
circuit, and it looks like it may get commercial distribution. I'll
let you know about that as well. It stars Jane Lynch (40-Y-O
Virgin, Best In Show) and features a Margaret Cho cameo. I just
shot another short called "Superwoman" in which I play a drag queen
trying to teach a clueless straight guy how to pick up girls! When
all decked out, I looked just like Mary J. Blige!! Also, look for
me as the Lawn and Garden guy in a Lowe's commercial about planting
for the Little League ballfield. Other appearances have included
WILL AND GRACE, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, GENERAL HOSPITAL, THE
BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, SAINTS AND SINNERS, THE WAYANS BROS.,
commercials for WENDY'S, SPRINT, VIRGIN MOBILE, etc., and other
independent and short films and TONS of plays. I was thrilled (and
shocked!) to win the NAACP Theatre Award for Best Actor for a play
called "Insurrection: Holding History" a few years ago. And I've
performed Shakespeare and Kafka, as well as world premieres of new
playwrights and love it all! As for my partner... he's a terrific
Tarot reader/teacher/author! I know I'm biased since we've been
together for 15 years, but he recently created his own beautiful
Tarot deck and the first printing sold out immediately! Second
printing is selling amazingly well. The fact that he had a student
travel to L.A. from Arizona and get a hotel so she could take two
days of private Tarot class from him after reading his books tells
you something! I love movies, theatre, tennis (anyone?), bowling,
etc... I've also been whitewater rafting several times in Maine,
California and Canada... so if anyone organizes a group trip, let
me know, and if I organize one again, let me know if you're
interested. If you've never tried it, I'm telling you, it's a
