I am a recent transplant now living in the Colorado Springs area.  I am a graphic designer and I do freelance work for clients in Atlanta, but most recently I was working for Centex, one of the big national homebuilders, and as I'm sure you know, the housing market has CRASHED. After 18 months of dodging the Layoff Bus, it finally hit me. They said, "Here's your severance package," and sent me on my way.

So...if you happen to be in the San Antonio area and would like to chat, meet up for a coffee, or even want to send some work my way - bring it on! :) Definitely up for networking and making some new friends...and by "making new friends" I do NOT mean digging up corpses and assembling them from scratch. I have a dark sense of humor, but not quite THAT dark.
