Hi, and welcome to my page. I'm Tim, or TimCub, and I'm a member of
the Heart of Texas Bears as well as of the Lone Star Bears here in
Austin, TX. I sing with the Capital City Men's Chorus, which is
where you'll typically find me on Monday nights. I'm totally
addicted to karaoke, and after rehearsal on Monday evenings, I'll
often go to Oilcan Harry's for the show with Excitement Tonight.
Call me nerdy, but I'm also a big fan of Buzztime Trivia. Sometimes
I'll play there at Oilcan's on Mondays, but more often I can be
found at TGI Friday's at the Arboretum at the bar behind a
Playmaker. I'm a language nut, and I studied German, French, and
Italian in college. I taught English in Bulgaria for six months
after graduating, and I learned enough Bulgarian to go grocery
shopping. Lately I've been listening to Coffee Break Spanish on
iTunes, and I'm entertaining the idea of subscribing to another
podcast to learn Mandarin Chinese. I love to travel, but I haven't
done much of it since 2003. That reminds me, I need to renew my
passport. I love to cook and to eat, but since I'm single and don't
have a roommate, cooking for one can be a little sad. I like all
kinds of food, from pizza to sushi, and the more adventurous the
cuisine, the better, as far as I'm concerned. I don't smoke, but I
do drink occasionally. As often as I go to Oilcan's on Monday
nights, I find that the Chain Drive is really my bar of choice,
mainly for the cheap drinks, friendly barstaff, and the woofy
clientele. During the day, you can find me working as the cashier
at Chaparral Ice Northcross. (Yes, there's an ice rink inside
Northcross Mall. No, we're not closed, nor are we closing anytime
soon, and, in fact, we're building an entirely new rink on the
property, and yes, as far as I know, the Walmart is still coming,
whether we like it or not. Come skate already!) Thanks for visiting
