Hello Viewers, - - I've arrived at this abode on the net, not
seeking a boyfriend, (although if that happens, yay), but rather to find like minded souls with whom to hob-nob, or otherwise interact. I'm a 44 year old, young looking (I know, I'm not supposed to say that, but it's true and everyone comments on the fact. Might as well get it over with now) and young seeming (ibid) bumpkin bumbling my way through life. - - I've got a penchant for things aesthetic. That is anything that permeates my being and touches something within me. Things, places, experiences that vibrate with an ethereal unknown, a longing perhaps, or a familiar resonance of a live lived (and not necessarily one's own). It is at this point you are saying "what kind of fruitcake is this nut", or words to that effect. To which I would probably respond, not the kind of fruitcake passed around at the holidays then used as a doorstop. That is of course if a nut can be a fruitcake, but now I'm just being pedantic. - - As expansive and varied as my aesthetics may be, they are neatly wrapped within a modernist, perhaps post modernist, package. That is not to imply that I am a neat freak. I do like a tidy space, but I'm just not that organized. I do have aspirations, though. - - I am a confirmed Liberal (with a capital 'L'). None of this pussyfooting about with the 'Progressive' word, even if I am also a progressive. Let's take back the word Liberal and be proud of it. I'm also a bit of a pragmatist. and realize that sometimes baby steps are required before a leap can be made. Therefore, politically, I lean far left, but still very much within the confines of the Democratic party. - - That's enough for you. You have much better things to be doing than surfing the net. Go outside and get some fresh air. Run down to the corner coffee shop and have a mocha. Stop by your neighborhood bookstore and actually buy a book, (as opposed to cruising the stacks). Come back soon, though. comments from my friendsYou need to be friends with sfgeoff in order to leave them a Comment. In the meantime, you can always sign their guestbook. |
