Hi everyone - If you look at my "relationship status" you'll see that it's "complicated". Well, I really mean that!! I am a gay man who's been in a straight marriage for almost 24 years. OK, I started out thinking I was more "bi" than "gay", but the labels can be downright confusing, and I believe that sexuality is flexible, anyway! In any case, my wife has always "known" about me and accepted my attraction to men, although it's always been easier for her intellectually than emotionally. I am also the father of a 19-year-old son, and I came out to him ;2 years ago. He was a bit surprised at first, but he's a great kid and has been very accepting. I recently turned 50Â&n bsp;and I'm thinking that it's time for me to live my "real" life. That is, a life that's centered around another man and a gay identity. I have no intention of abandoning my wife or son, but I think that after so much time, I owe it to myself to find some happiness. That being said, I have found a great guy with whom I am hoping to make a new life! I am also looking for friends in the NYC area as well - especially those guys who have been married (and perhaps are also fathers). I have many interests ranging from travel to languages (I speak some German and Russian; I'm currently attempting to learn Spanish and [maybe] some Mandarin), reading, hiking, music (esp classical, opera, jazz), computers, NYC, theater, movies, great food and wine and of course great, intense love-making. The food and wine have contributed to the extra 10 pounds I need to drop! I am about 5'7", 180 lbs, dark hair (still almost a full head), s/p trim beard, moderately hairy all over. I am drug/disease free and HIV neg (and expect the same). Non-smoker and a light social drinker.
