I have been interested in art as long as I can remember...since I was little. I don't have a day go by that I do not see the beauty in something; finding it in a tree, cloud in the sky, the crow outside, just about anything. I am inspired by everything. I am a somewhat a self taught artist. I was inspired by my best friend to take art in high school, were I did for four years. I unfortunely didn't follow my heart after that but, I am finally able to now and I don't plan on stopping. So, for those many years I am trying to make up and enjoy life as it was meant to be for me. I am now able to persue my passion for it and am looking forward to enjoying it as a profession! I guess if I had to classify myself I would say that I tend to lead more towards modern or abstract paintings however, I believe that I am ever-evolving as an artist and don't try to just limit myself to any one type. My main focus is on acrylics and mixed media art. Some of my favorite artist are: Van Gogh, Kilmt, Andy Worhol, J. W. Waterhouse, Jasmine Becket-Griffith, & Bill Rabbit. I love working with acrylic as my main medium but, I also love texture and I tend to add a number of additions to a piece of work. I have been known to add beads, glitter, or my favorite opalescent paint here and there. I do also love working with clay, making jewelry, and other mediums. I am posting some older works as well as some of my more recent ones to my photo gallery. If anything strikes your eye feel free to contact me as I have some other works that I may sale even if not listed. I hope that you all will enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them.
I am currently working on ideas for protraying tasteful lesbian artwork, the way that it should be shown, that reflects love without bounderies. I believe that this will be a major step in showing everyone that love is love no matter how one may see it differently than another. I believe that repsect should be shown no matter race, color, beliefs or orientation, and that acceptance for everyone no matter their views is really all that anyone needs. Being different but, the same, we are all people.
I am a artist who resides in Oklahoma with my girl and our furry baby (our dog, Lily). I also enjoy photography, architecture, and landscape design. I try to just enjoy life as it is and bring happiness to everyone who crosses my path. I try to enjoy life every single day no matter where I go or what I do. I express myself through making art, that is just want I do and just what I want to be doing!
