As an actor, producer, designer, and technology consultant, I live each day to create groundbreaking material for TV and the web.

A kid from Brooklyn, NY, I graduated summa cum laude from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. I was named a Gerard Scholar, the institution?s highest scholastic honor, and received the Gold Key in my major.

In 2004, I co-founded MorGold Productions, an independent production company that develops ground breaking content for film, Television and the web. MorGold Productions has developed a number of TV pilots including Zip Code, Assisted Living, Sidelines and the musical comedy web series, No Moore. In 2006, our pitch for Assisted Living earned us a Top 10 spot in the New York Television Festival's Online Pitch Contest and an opportunity to pitch the show to executives at IFC.

In addition to acting and producing, I work as a technology consultant and designer. As a Multimedia Manager at Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC), I've been influential in rebuilding the organization's web site and improving its online presence. In as little as six months, QSAC's web traffic increased 90% and continues to rise. As a designer, I've created online ads for Rodale books including Twice as Good: Condoleezza Rice and Her Path to Power by Marcus Mabry, Positively American by Senator Chuck Schumer, Harvey Walden's No Excuses! Fitness Workout, The Abs Diet Ultimate Nutrition Handbook and Mario Lopez' Knockout Fitness. You may have seen my ads on major web sites including NYTimes.com, MensHealth.com and Prevention.com. I recently launched a technology blog, JoeSaidSo.com, which empowers people to choose well and live well in the digital age.

I also devote time to a number of LGBT-focused organizations. I spent two years serving as Marriage Equality NY's Multimedia Director and in 2006 I co-founded OUT Astoria, an organization that coordinates events for the LGBT community in Astoria, Queens. I'm currently in the process of developing beyondout.com, a digital magazine and online community designed to empower a post-gay sensibility. The project is set to launch end of summer 2008.
