I currently work as an anchor for the CBS affiliate on California's Central Coast (Santa Barbara/Santa Maria/San Luis Obispo market #122).

I also am the founder and managing partner of Journalist Junction - a broadcast journalist resume and job site (www.journalistjunction.c om). After years of sending tapes and DVDs through the mail, I realized there had to be a better way for news directors and potential job candidates to meet and communicate. So, I developed an online world to make it easier for all parties involved.

I spent the first half of his 20s managing several small business in California and Colorado, but decided to switch careers and go back to college for broadcast journalism in 1994 at the age of 27. Since then, I have worked as a reporter and anchor at stations in Eureka, CA (#193); Medford, OR (#141); Madison, WI (#85); and as a radio news and fill-in television traffic anchor in the San Francisco Bay Area (#6). I've been with my current station in Santa Maria since October of 2006.

I have been out to my coworkers and viewers for the past eight years. His current station, KCOY CBS 12, even lists my partner's name and the names of our two dogs on the station's website bio page.
