Melissa Sigler is an award winning international artist, performing songwriter and musician "delivering powerful, sultry vocals with a blues and jazzy edge. Jill Sissel is an extraordinary singer/songwriter and musician producing insightful Americana flavored music by using textures of sound and lyrics to design colorful palettes of music suited to all walks of life. Liz Ficalora, outstanding drummer, percussionist, producer, engineer and orchestrator, Berklee College of Music grad and National Award winning songwriter is the driving force behind The Paint Sisters.
Jill Sissel
Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitar.
Originally from Utah, is an extraordinary singer/songwriter and musician producing insightful Americana flavored music. She has achieved Just Plain Folks Songwriting Contest nominations for 2001 Best Americana Song with," Love Knows No Distance", and Best Americana Album with Love Knows No Distance; and 1999 Best Americana Album with The Builder, and an honorable mention with NSAI's songwriting competition with the duet, "Safe Inside" written with Paul Jackson in 2001. She produced the theme for an independent film entitled Murphy's Law and she wrote another composition for the score. Jill has opened for major league acts including Dan Seals, Tracy Lawrence, Jo Dee Messina and Ty England.
Melissa Sigler
Vocals, Keyboards, Bass.
Originally from Louisiana, worked with comedian Jen Kober in Orlando and Dallas and Louisiana as musical director for her improv show, produced and hosted a cable TV music show in Louisiana, hosted songwriter nights in Lake Charles and Nashville, and emceed professionally for 15 years. She is a radio host on WRFN 98.9 Pasquo (Mojo Mama Blues and Zydeco show). I've toured Europe and Australia playing blues, produced 2 CDs of original music and I cook a real good gumbo.
Liz Ficalora
Vocals, Drums, Percussion, Keyboards.
Originally from Westchester, New York and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. She is currently a producer, engineer, orchestrator and drummer for Ficalora Music Productions. She has produced, arranged and performed for Carnival Cruise Line, The Paint Sisters and Lynn Manderson
Has toured and or performing with artist such as Stella Parton, Charlie Luven, Lisa Carver, Greg Forsman, Anne Mosher, Dave Pomeroy, Reese Wilson, Lynn Manderson, Doc Hearl and Nashville Symphony Celebration Chorus.
