Born in Calgary, Tegan and Sara began their musical path in 1995 and at the age of 26 have released 5 albums. Tegan currently resides in Vancouver, BC and Sara resides in Montreal, QC. Tegan and Sara released their fifth album, THE CON, on july 24, 2007.

Tegan Quin, of the indie folk duo Tegan and Sara who play Tuesday at the Rio Theatre, doesn't care what critics think. She doesn't care that she was passed over for Canada's Juno awards on April 6. She doesn't care that the new album, "The Con," carries a parental advisory sticker. She doesn't even care that the duo was referred to as "Tampon Rock" in the press.
