This position is within the Production Planning organization as a Master Production Scheduler/Demand Planner.

Duties include developing schedule requirements within SAP. This position plans, prepares, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Qualified candidates will identify raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules; and advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.

This position requires daily use of multiple software applications such as SAP, Lotus Notes, Business Warehouse, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project. Therefore the individual filling this position must possess proficient PC skills. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, is essential. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of MRP and scheduling principles and practices. Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, and production processes is a plus.

Prefer individual with a Bachelor's degree or higher (related experience may be substituted for education) and rough-cut capacity planning. APICS certification is strongly preferred, as is at least 3 years experience in MRP.

Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
