Job Description:

We have an immediate opportunity with a leader in the healthcare industry. This is a 6 month Contract-To-Hire position for a Business Consultant in Oakland, CA. If you believe you are a fit for this position, please apply to this posting!

Duties:

Takes designed program tools like the Business Function Mapping or Infrastructure Health Check or Process Communication Initiatives and develops detailed content using Remedy, Visio, and Excel and other tools with a future eye to automation and business intelligence
Develops draft PowerPoint presentations for teams for delivery to forums, taskforces, and strategic meetings
Develops, distributes, and analyzes Quarterly Customer Satisfaction surveys
Once top tier service escalations or issues are identified, receives direction on next steps toward researching details of issues
Ensures that Service and other specific requirements are complete and provides any necessary content after validation to teams
Coordinates and participates in Operations Incident/Problem Meeting, prepares summary, and indicates any trends noticed
Participates in Weekly Critical and High Incident review meeting, identifies key trends, and performs high level weekly analysis for preparation for scorecard or weekly reports
Coordinates and researches any hot spot reports and reports results and next steps
Recommends innovative options to improve team efficiency


The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise):

Exposure to a corporate environment for seven or more years
IT background is preferred
Experience in a support position on a team for seven or more years
Some background in ITIL, Service Catalogue, Service Level Agreements, or process work is a plus
Analytical dimension; ability to analyze data, develop preliminary findings, and explain results in a clear and concise written and verbal communication
Organizational navigation dimension; ability to navigate across all organizations, initiate contact with all levels of personnel and management, and gather in a respective and professional manner data needed to complete critical tasks
Learning dimension; ability to take on a new task or organizational structure and to educate self, find applicable resources, and apply what is learned toward the successful accomplishment of any situation
Tool skills: tracking and reporting Remedy or a comparable application, Excel including pivot tables and charts, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint expertise
Written communication; experience with tables, charts, trending graphs, executive summaries, and external customer communication; ability to develop clear and concise communication
Oral communication; ability to comfortably interact with all levels of management and personnel and explain purpose, benefits, and details of any task or initiative in a clear manner
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
