The company is a perennial member of Fortune magazine's list of Most Admired Companies.We are presently hiring 15 new Customer Marketing Associates for our Outbound Sales Group in Waterloo, IA.Position Requirements:The primary function of this position is to maintain and grow sales with an existing uncovered customer base.⿢ Present & engage customers with scripted campaign offers via the telephone to grow Grainger⿿s Maintenance Repair & Operation (MRO) sales. Cold calling on new, small business customers.⿢ Assist the customer in navigating through the service channels in order to leverage all offers, resources and technical support provided by Grainger.⿢ Establish call priority, manage phone contact list and accurately record all correspondence with customer population.⿢ Identify individuals who can initiate an order or influence a buying decision (document accordingly).⿢ Written & verbal communication should be clear and concise in order to express, ideas, plans, and actions to both customers and internal business partners.⿢ Improve effectiveness of internal processes in order to increase sales.⿢ Minimum of 1 to 2 years of phone experience (sales or service) preferred.⿢ Knowledge of MRO products and their applications.⿢ Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level and a desire to win.⿢ Performance measured by commissioned sales tied to generating new business⿢ Possess the technological capabilities and understanding to communicate in today⿿s business environment.⿢ Ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution or sale with customers.⿢ Ability to influence events to meet and/or exceed goals.⿢ Ability to stay with a position or plan of action until desired result is achieved or is no longer reasonably attainable.⿢ Strong communication, organization, problem solving and time management skills ⿢ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)⿢ Familiarity with SAP helpful Grainger is an equal opportunity employer.Grainger is a Fortune 500 company and the leading broad line supplier of facilities maintenance products serving businesses and institutions throughout North America with sales of over $6 billion.
