A major provider of 3G chipset and software technology is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with possibility of hire.

With chipsets shipped to more than 50 customers and powering the majority of all 3G devices commercially available, the company partners with nearly 60 3G network operators around the globe and has one of the largest CDMA engineering teams in the wireless industry.

You will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, development and testing of components related to Video on Demand streaming and streaming TV based on technologies such as DVB-H, MBMS etc. Skills/Experience:⿢ 3-4 years of experience preferred in Professional Software Development preferably in the areas of Video on Demand streaming or mobile multimedia applications⿢ In-depth knowledge of Data Networking and Data Protocols including IP,TCP⿢ and UDP⿢ Software development and debugging skills in C and C++ ,embedded development and Network programming experience strongly desired⿢ Excellent analysis and problem solving skills⿢ Good verbal and written communication skills Additional Skills:⿢ Prior experience in protocols related to Video on Demand(VoD) or VoIP like RTSP,SIP, RTP strongly preferred⿢ Knowledge of MPEG-4, H264,H263 would be an added advantage⿢ Knowledge of broadcast/multicast technologies like DVB-H, MBMS,BCMCS would be an additional plus Discover all that's possible with Yoh IT.
