Joan Crawford was the ultimate gay icon movie queen from the 1920s to 1970. She made 80 movies, did loads of TV and radio, was a fashion plate, and was massively involved in charity. She even put Pepsi on the map. Mommy Dearest was just twisted truths, bratty belly aching, exaggerations and provable lies. Christina now admits that the wire hanger scene in the movie never happened. Sure, she didn't write the screenplay, but she could have said something sooner. Enjoy the Joan photos !!!
