Welcome to plu.edu.sg! We're a group of gay, lesbian and and bisexual educators and supportive colleagues, comprising Singaporean or Singapore-based teachers and educators from a whole range of institutions and backgrounds. We offer support to our members through regular meetings and social events. Our long-term mission is to achieve a situation in Singapore schools in which each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Hi there everyone! We had a lovely evening yesterday, first at Pitch Black, where we watched 'The Embalmer', this charged, atmospheric Italian movie about the (sexual) tension between a gay midget and a straight hunk (DVD courtesy of Loo Lin) and then at this Middle Eastern place, where Chern Yee treated us to a game of 'Werewolves'. ********************************************************************************************** Tomorrow evening, we're having our massage workshop. Time: 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm | Venue: Sheung's place at Rowell Road. We'll be learning fusion massage (Swedish-Thai), and focusing on the back, neck, shoulders and head. For those coming, please bring along a thick towel, and a mat (if you've got one). Cost has gone up a little (sorry!) to $15 per person for the 2 hour workshop. We've still got 4 places available, so if you've got an interested friend, please let me know! |

Group Policies Hi guys! Our little group has been growing, so I guess it's time to put in place some policies about how we run ourselves. These policies are open to revision, if anyone has a better idea on how they can be tweaked. ************************************************************************************** Photos: Ron and I have taken our photos down for the moment, cos we're not sure if anyone is uncomfortable with having them up. We're going to arrange it this way: if we see that you've got a face pic up on your GLEE profile, we'll assume that you're okay with appearing in a pic in the group's photo album. If you're not that comfy, pls let me know privately. We'll re-post the pre-CNY pics in a week's time, once we know who's comfy and who isn't. ************************************************************************************** Bringing new members: if you're bringing a friend along to the meeting and you know that there's someone else from the group who's in that school, please contact that person, to save the possibility of both people being rudely shocked. At this point in time, as the group is still young, we'd also like to keep meetings as warm and friendly possible, so let's just invite only gay friends to the group for now. |
