First thing I would say is that I am incredibly blessed by God. As
each day passes, I see more clearly the purpose He has for my life.
I could not begin to tell you the many roads I have taken over the
years, but one thing has always remained constant...God loves me
and wants an ever-growing relationship with me. As for who I am
now....I would say someone who believes in others, often more than
they believe in themselves. I have no doubt that I have made
mistakes along the way, but I believe it is those very mistakes
that help mold us into who we can become. Right behind my love for
God, is my love for my partner, family and friends. There is
nothing I wouldn't do for someone I love. I suppose the things that
occupy my life the most, would be family, church and time spent
with friends. One thing I have learned over the years is peace is
not as hard to come by as I once thought. It takes sacrifice at
times, but once obtained the sacrifices don't even seem so
important anymore. I guess the biggest thing I still aspire to
become... would be a voice (as my profession is that of
broadcasting), for those in my community that have been told over
and over again that they are not worthy of God's love. I would love
to help educate the public about who and what we (GLBT) are really
all about. But most of all, that no matter what someone believes
about my salvation, I know I am saved. I know the Lord loves me and
I know there is a place for me at His table.
