personal message

Oh geez...they want to make a personal statement to embody 25 years of existence into a few pixels. 'kayyy. I live for photography and anthropological conquests. Think Indiana Jones without Spielberg and close to attaining a degree in the arts...alright, that's a stretch but it gets my foot in the door eh? I got my start in photo restoration and Egyptology, so you can see how the two degrees walk hand in hand right? Right. I'm very passionate about politics and artistic expression, and I'll share an Otter Pop with anyone in need of good company and conversation. So...that's it. My mission statement. Born and raised in Houston, Tejas now currently residing in yet another red state, our lovely and morally devoid Nevada. Hopefully come spring semester I can begin my Arabic language studies and actually bring my trip to Egypt that much closer to feasibility :) I'd say I float on the breeze when it comes to planting my feet in any locale, and Europe definitely beckons me for a gander. Find me on a moped travelling across Italy's countryside with a camera and a notebook. There's room for two, however. Winery anyone? :D

If not the dictionary, reading in general should be endorsed to the vast majority.

Good grammar is sexy--and--is actually a big turn on for me when I hear it.
If you say "if I were going" instead of "if I was going", chances are good that I'll turn around and check you out. lol. :)

Crumpets come with dip right?

So really. This site and I might become pretty good friends, I'd say. Mmhmm. Just finished my Women's studies paper...wee! 2.5 pages...single-spaced *gun shot in the distance*....no really, I'd call it close to a hardship as I can't remember single-spacing anything (blogs excluded) since the days when MS WordPad was the standard word processing program.

On a side note, I'm looking forward to finishing this semester. Dec. 11th come on down! "You've won...a new car!..." I wish... (continue reading)
