After seven years in Phoenix, I've decided to make a huge change in my life. I was just offered a fantastic job in the Washington, DC area and will be moving there at the end of June, where I hope my writing career and my professional career will continue to grow.
I'm the author of three chapbooks of poetry, the most recent (and best) of which is called The Strange Case of Maribel Dixon. It's available on Amazon.com and has gotten at least one good review so far.
My amazing boyfriend can't join me in DC. He has a hundred great opportunities in Phoenix and we're both supportive of each other's futures. In fact, he's got one really fantastic thing in the works that I hope comes to fruition for him. We're going to keep dating despite the distance, though. I'm lucky to have found someone who puts up with so much of my bullshit.
My life is otherwise pretty quiet. I tend to stay busy and I'm hoping to get out and take in as much of DC as I can in the next few months.
