I work in the insurance industry-more specifically I perform
administrative services for insurance companies that sell Private
Fee for Service and Prescription Drug Plans for Medicare and
Medicaid recipients. In addition I work the Producer Licensing and
Commission phone line and I also train our new hires for our
department. I know all this sounds so exciting you are wondering
how I tear myself away at the end of the day, but actually I do
enjoy my job and like the company that I work for.
When I am not working I enjoy hanging out with my friends. In
the morning, before I go to work, I hang out with my Starbucks
buddies. Like most people we talk about a variety of things that
range from, What is the meaning of life? to Hey, did you see that
guy? He was really cute. They are a fun group to wake up with. I
like most everyone I work with but there are a few that I have
grown especially fond of and that I do things with outside of work.
Of course I have my Bar Buddies who can always be counted on for
entertaining fun and who make my nights out a joy. Then there are
my friends who transcend one or more of these categories. They have
the versatility to meld with the changing situations as they happen
and seem to really enjoy doing so.
My father has been passed for three years now. I think about him
a lot, know he is in a much better place now (without cancer) and
that I will see him again when I transcend, but I really miss him
not being here. My mom is now getting her life back on track. She
is getting back out there in that scary realm we refer to as
dating. My hat is off to her. She has got metal and is a Steel
Magnolia if there ever was one. I have one brother and one adopted
sister and enjoy a good relationship with them. I am very proud of
both of them and what they have made of themselves in life. They
are both fine people and good parents, despite the current
challenges in their lives.
As for me, I am just a regular guy trying to figure out what to
do with this wonderful gift I have been given, i.e.: my life. The
last few years have presented me with a few challenges of my own.
Some of which I have met successfully and others of which I learned
a lot from. I would like to meet someone special and work with them
in building a good life together. I have not had much luck with
that of late, but I do remain hopeful that the future will bring me
what I need.
