I am here to support my partner in promoting the lifting of the ban on gays in the military, and abolishing the "don't ask, don't tell policy". This is a historic time for this hugely important issue. So many lives are altered by this policy which encourages deception, hatred, isolation and endless opportunity for revenge. I am very proud of her efforts in speaking about the need to end this policy, and the benefit that will eventually be reaped by servicemembers, their families and the country as well.
Our lives are very content, and we are committed to each other and the things that are important to us. One of those things is promoting diversity by living our lives with our two young boys openly in a suburban Northern California small town. (fun stuff!) Another thing that brings us joy is to help our family members to achieve their dreams. We are constantly reaching beyond the walls that lie before us. We push each other to constantly be better people. We are in the real estate business (investing, appraising, realtor) and also writers (book coming soon,) and now activists. We happily welcome only those who are like-minded....positive, ambitious, mature, and faithful.
