personal message

In the wake of Gustav missing New Orleans, we decided to offer the DVD as a fundraiser for the American Red Cross to address underrepresented communities missed by our media. We created an Ebay sale that gives 40% of the proceeds directly tp ARC through Ebay's MissonFish service.

I am both a Scholar and Filmmaker. My first mainstream documentary film has been touring the festival circuit and has also been released on DVD through my production site, Amazon and CreateSpace.

It is slated for release later in the month at Amazon Unbox, Tivo On Demand, and we are working on Netflix. We have a Network deal in the works...but won't say yet where.

The film is entitled: EBONY CHUNKY LOVE: %#&@$! can't get a date!

The Film stars Keith Price, Co-Host of Out Q in the Morning on Sirius Satellite Radio.
For more information, click the link to the production site.

The film is available currently for rental at Broadway Market Video on Capitol Hill.

Now something about me. I'm somewhat an anomaly. I have quite the intense profession but I am laid back and very personable.
I enjoy meeting honest, engaged and kind people from all walks of life. I have a great sense of humor and spend a good part of the day laughing. Laughter is good medicine and there is a science to it. I guess that is why I have been in good health all these years.

When I can, I work to be as actively engaged in local community activism as a representative of underrepresented people. I try to pay forward the things that previous activitists have done for the betterment of my life. I still believe that we have a long way to go. However, I am pleasantly optimistic.

We make our own destiny, don't we?

I stopped looking for role models as there is a paucity of them. I realized a few years back that I had to become the one I wished existed.

I love my family and friends very much and appreciate all the support they give me. I make a great effort to reciprocate.

I have a few more projects in the works and am always interested in discussing ideas with people.

Everything else....Well, it all starts with a "Hello, How are you?"

2 truths and a lie

Two of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...
