The Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival is Three Dollar Bill Cinema's chief annual program. The festival has been a part of the Greater Seattle queer community and beyond since 1996 and has become the largest festival of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. The festival has garnered national recognition for showcasing extraordinary and award-winning work including the Northwest premiere of Transamerica and the Seattle premiere of Shortbus. The festival is also an important venue in the local Seattle film scene, and inspires members of our community to express their creativity through film and video.

We've gone through towering stacks of film to select the best (and, of course, the gayest) for the 2007 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. There's everything from our International Centerpiece, The Witnesses, to the local documentary Blood On The Flat Track. With short film programs, parties, panel discussions, and free workshops there's so much to choose from.
MISSION

Three Dollar Bill Cinema enriches, strengthens, and connects diverse communities by supporting queer film and by producing the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and other events.

WHAT WE DO

Three Dollar Bill Cinema provides access to films by, for, and about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their families, and a forum for LGBT filmmakers to share and discuss their work with audiences. We curate themed screenings throughout the year and produce programs in partnership with other arts, cultural, and service delivery organizations in the Greater Seattle area.

You can find out more about TDBC by checking out our GLEE group here.

Okay, it might be more like a B-movie star, but a party is a party. You can find out info about all of the receptions, galas, and special events during the 2007 SLGFF by heading here.
The glamour of being a volunteer cannot be overstated! And the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival could not happen without the help and enthusiasm of volunteers. When you volunteer for the festival you will have fun, meet new people, support a fabulous non-profit queer arts event and earn coupons to see films for free.
