I am originally from San Antonio, Texas (where I was born and raised. I miss my home town, Texas peeps show some LUV!). I stay in Birmingham, AL currently. I like doing whatever my little heart desires to do. Now I know how that sounds, but let me explain. If I feel that I would love to take a walk around the block, late night picnic, dressing up extra sexy, but never leave the house, or plan a romantic night for no reason; then I will do it. "Have We Forgotten"

Have we forgotten the real meaning of love? Or, perhaps we never really knew it. Is it possible that those who shaped and molded our lives and our worlds were so busy feeding, clothing, nurturing, and protecting us, that they missed the basic theme, the foundation, the message of life. The message that there is nothing but love. All comes from it to return to it. Have we been fooled by the masks and postures that make us feel loved and lovable; Or the lures and lust that makes feel good when we don`t. What about the excitement and enjoyment that helps us forget the little pieces of ourselves that we have giving away for a few moments of passion and pleasure that camouflage the power struggle and the pain we feel when we mistake something else for love. Have we really forgotten that love is all - nothing less- than the essence of everything, Or did we ever really know. Have we disowned love because it once appeared to be a dark, evasive shadow, showing us things that we did not want to see about ourselves? Have we covered the spirit of love in black or white, or good or bad, or right or wrong, so that love`s meaning has been lost. Along with our sense of value, and worth and wisdom. Or have we become so guilty about how we love, ashamed of why we love, afraid of who we love, that the conditions, judgments, restrictions and limits that we place on love and loving have left us loveless, love torn and love starved. Or maybe perhaps, the simplest explanation is that we have taken so much of God out of love that we can no longer find ourselves in it.
