I guess the most pressing thing to mention is that I'm the Site Director for GLEE.com.

I'm a brother, son, uncle, cousin, boyfriend, best friend, friend, professional, writer, music fanatic (bordering on snobbery), editor, painter...this list can go on and on. Point is, what's exciting about GLEE is that it provides people like me (men and women, all sexual orientations, young and old(er), all races...you know who you are) the opportunity to connect with other individuals on all aspects of our lives.

Now, I'm definitely not a rah-rah person; never have been, probably never will. Sarcastic, wicked sense of humor, restless...these are the kinds of words my family and friends would use to describe me. (Along with some other, more "choice" words, no doubt.) However, at the end of the day, I want my life to, you know, amount to something.

Not that GLEE is going to provide me or you with the "answer." (And it would freak me out if it did.) But it does provide you with something important: an alternative. Have you ever gotten the feeling that you've wasted WAY too many hours online...looking for love...looking for lust...looking for, well, anything?

Okay, I promise not to get all existential on you. (Unless you're into that.) The "alternative" that I mentioned above is, essentially, an alternative to all the sites out there that are responsible for wasting your time. GLEE's your chance to start connecting to people in an entirely different way. The insane thing is that you have something in common with everybody on this site. And where can that lead? Landing your dream job by networking in our extensive professionals section? Moving across the country because of said job? Some new running partners? Meeting connected individuals who can get you into that sold-out concert you've been dying to get into? Discovering someone else is into snorkeling? Coming across a group of guys and gals who are looking for others to rent a yacht for the weekend?

Again, the possibilities are endless. No more wasting time. Just the entire Gay World at your fingertips...waiting for you to realize what you may have been missing all these years.

Aak, that almost came off all Hallmark-y at the end there. I better let you get back to exploring GLEE before my friends and family add "total sap" to their list of Parker descriptives.
