Montgomery County, Maryland recently added gender identity to the protections of their non-discrimination law, which bans discrimination on the basis of gender identity in housing, employment, public accommodations, and taxi and cable service.

Since then, right wing extremists -- ( www.notmyshower.net --read what we are up against!) have successfully qualified a ballot measure to repeal the law. It will be placed before voters in November.
