Ladies and gentlemen (and everyone in
between!), you have to love this great site dedicated to our
community -- and have already met some terrific folks on here. My
partner remains in Tampa Bay, and a long distance relationship
isn't always easy so it's been great to make some new friends,
especially here in metro D.C.
Personal massage? Well, it's always
tough to wrap up your life in a few paragraphs. I was born and
raised in Honolulu (Go Punahou!), college at Syracuse University
(Go Orange!), and spent some great years in Los Angeles, Nashville,
St. Petersburg (FL) and am now in Washington D.C. (how the heck did
I end up in this city?)...with my ongoing love affair with
Philadelphia still blazing.
I
handle communications and marketing for all the platforms of a
national U.S. newspaper and information source (I know you can
guess which one) and do quite a bit of travel in the job while I'm
also trying to figure out how to access and enjoy the capital and
North Virginia.
Look forward to chatting, meeting,
exploring, sharing, connecting and all the other good things we can
now find in our new cyber world -- but not losing sight that
nothing can replace good ol' fashioned human contact!
As
the Wizard said to the Tin Man: "But once I had brains and a
heart also; so having tried them both, I should much rather have a
