I am a 60 year old single Lesbian. I have been gay ever since I remember.I'm recovering from a long illness and am trying to connect with people in the gay community.Ultimately I would like to find the love of my life (wouldn't we all)? I am also interested in friendships as I have been isolated for sometime. I am very much a homebody and enjoy reading, TV, my cats, music, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy casual dining out and ordering in - especially Chinese food. My taste is music is varied and I enjoy country, 50's oldies, motown, and Mozart. My favorite singer is John Denver (don't laugh too hard).I also enjoy Faith Hill, Eric Clapton, and Anne Murray just to mention a few. Spirituality is very important to me and I have learned to appreciate some of the small things in life that I used to take for granted. In a relationship I am extrememly loyal, affectionate, compassionate, and supportive of my lover. Spending a lot of time together is very important to me. Cuddling is probably one of my favorite things. I love to be close. I also like to have time alone and with friends. As a friend I am trustworthy and always ready to listen, support and be there. I have a good sense of humor and I do like to laugh a lot. I would like to find a lover, and or friends,who do not smoke, drink, or use drugs and who desire similar things. I am a retired teacher,and am enjoying all the free time I have.
