Professionally...
I'm a fiction and freelance writer, blogger, and book reviewer
from San Diego, CA. Currently I write weekly blogs by way of book
reviews and Boob Tube-age for OurChart.com, the
lesbian entertainment and networking site associated with
Showtime's The L Word. Previous to my TV geek and booknerd
gigs, I wrote humor, social criticism and personal narrative essays
as a Guestbian for Our Chart. I also write monthly-ish book reviews
for
the HipsterBookClub.com.
As far as fiction goes, I play in many genres: erotica, lesbian
fiction, fantasy/adventure, childrens and YA lit. Many, many moons
ago, I also used to write fan fiction in the Buffyverse, primarily
in the Willow/Tara ship fandom. From time to time I also dabble a
bit in screenwriting, songwriting, composing and film scoring. Most
recently in that vein, in 2007 I wrote snippets of five songs for a
locally produced indie short film: "Sodomy: The Musical!" It is on
my top ten list of things to do before I shuffle the mortal coil to
finish a feature length musical (and I have a super tricked out,
geektastic storyline for that project on the back burner).

Personally...
I identify as a femme, and have become something of a champion
of the butch/femme dynamic, which is near and dear to me. I
identify strongly as a lesbian, too, and have been out since high
school. I met my girlfriend on Our Chart in the summer of 2007.
In my spare time I am passionate about food and cooking, health
and wellness, astrology and spirituality, word games (I am a
Literati fiend), life with cats, and spending quality time with
friends and family. I tend to be a homebody type, more interested
in having folks over for a dinner party and game of Fantasy Buffy
than frequenting the bar/club scene. I read a great deal and watch
WAY too much TV. (My chief fandoms include: Buffy, Top Chef, Iron
Chef, Lost, BSG, Dexter, and The L Word.)
