My usual cop out would normally be to just cut and paste my
DJ press kit bio, but I'm feeling a bit creative these days, so I will take
some time and actually write a little bit about myself in the first person for
once
Some of you may know me as part of the Wilderness Media
family through my production work for "Radio with a Twist", a show that I am very
proud to be a part of. I've been working
in radio for the last five years, since I graduated college. I'm a mixshow DJ on WKTU 103.5 here in New
York, where I can be heard every Sunday night in #1
rated "KTU Freestyle Free for All". I
also produce weekly mixshows for Sirius 36 "The Beat". When I'm not producing my weekly shows, you
can usually find me DJ'ing in nightclubs across the Tri-State and beyond. Music is a huge part of my life, and I'm
fortunate to be able to share it with so many people through my radio
work.
I live in Staten Island with my
boyfriend of four years, Jason. I'm
incredibly blessed to be surrounded by wonderful friends and family. Some of my favorite things in the world are the
gym, Texas Hold Em, the Nintendo Wii, AC trips, late nights at the bar,
Jaegermeister, green tea, barbecues, cooking dinner at home, tanning, YouTube,
80's sitcoms, my arcade machines, warm weather, scented candles, bad horror
movies.

Some random facts about me....
1. I've seen EVERY episode of "Good Times" many, many times..
2. The first pieces of music I ever owned were two 45 RPM singles, of "Gloria" by Laura Branigan" and "Borderline" by Madonna. Shut up I know that's pretty gay.
3. I can justify putting mozzarella on just about anything.
4. I have never once DJ'ed drunk. I NEVER drink when I'm working, and people thinnk I'm weird.
5. I couldn't swallow pills until I was about 19 years old.
6. I once commanded the attention of an entire video arcade in 1985 while standing on a milk crate playing Pac Man and beating the high score.
7. I get teary eyed when I hear "Danny Boy"
8. Lean Pockets are probably the most important staple of my diet along with Whey Protein
9. I still love Debbie Gibson and Samantha Fox 20 years after the fact..
10. I just started eating vegetables, like, last year
