I just got back from a lovely trip to San Francisco, and I really really miss it. I stayed with my ex, and, for the first time in 8 months, he was normal. I miss that city and all the folks over there, and I seriously miss public transportation.

I Love Ikea. I wasn't always so enrapt with cleverly manufactured and packaged Swedish design, but who can resist the charm and allure of furnishing an entire home for under two grand? Anyhoo, after 3 days of assembling furniture, a thrown-out back, a cold, and several layers of my epidermis missing from my fingertips, I would have to conclude that I am a dedicated Ikea nut.
