personal message

Some days I'm a pessimist; some days I'm an optimist. I like clouds more than the sun. I buy
books much faster than I can read them, and feel no remorse for it.
I like to write; sometimes I think I'm going to be an author. Some
days, though, I don't know where my life is going. I get the random
urge to pawn off all of my belongings and move to Alaska about
three times a month. I've resisted it so far, but who knows about
next month? I put my foot in my mouth about four times a day
(figuratively speaking), but I don't really regret it. It's not my
fault if most people don't understand sarcasm. On a separate note:
I don't bite; add or message me if you want. Also:

Emily Dickinson published less than a dozen of her poems during her life. The rest she kept hidden in a box in an attic. In her correspondences, she referred to them as her "letters to the world".
Sometimes, I feel the same way. All these pages and pages of words, just piling on top of each other. It's my small way, I guess, to invite people in: the doors are open, but the guests come and go. The rooms are empty at night when everyone has left, and I'm alone scribbling out more... (continue reading)
