We are a lesbian couple who recently got married! We couldn't relate to being called "brides" or "grooms" since we thought those terms were outdated. So, we decided to combine the two and came up with "Broom" and "Gride." We got shirts made and wore them to our bacholerette party, our rehearsal dinner, and our reception the night of the big day.
