personal messageHizza. My name is Erika. No one calls me that. They all call me Mutt. It would probably be easier for you to follow suit. After all, if you ever forget, just reference the bone on my collar. Yes, I am serious. Woof. For the sake of oversimplifying, if I were to describe myself in 5 different adjectives they would be Passionate, Eclectic, Ambitious, Charismatic and...well, I suppose I ought to reserve space for Loquacious in this mix. I suspect that despite my Facetious Attitude, inability to be anything less than a Court Jester and Verbose Vocabularly, I am fairly easy to approach. The topics that are all-consuming in my life are: 1) Communication (Next to animals, this is the closest thing I've got to sacred. I appreciate all forms of communication, from philosophy to debate to just simply chatting. However, I am most versed in communication through various forms of art and must claim storytelling as my expertise.) 2) Entertainment (I must point out that generally speaking, I loathe television. But to say I am a movie buff would be a gross understatement. Periodic trips to concerts or theatre events is what keeps my faith in humanity. I would be remiss to fail not point out the very glaring fact that everything that could even be remotely concieved as "nerdy" or "geeky" has managed to find a way into my life. Such dorkdom includes -- but is not limited to -- RPGs of every kind, arcade games, manga, science fiction, conventions, comic books, blogging, chatting, coding and string theory. If there was a Kingdom of Lamealot, I would most assuredly be the Duchess of Dork) 3) Dreams That said, it would only be a natural assumption that I would be a Artist of Sorts with a distinctive Bohemian Flair. However I would like to think I've found enough of a balance between Spiritual Introspection and Tongue-in-Cheek Observation that I can relate to just about anyone. I'm in Ashland, Wisconsin for college. My family's in Waukegan, Illinois and I visit fairly frequently for concerts. I'm moving to Portland, Oregon this summer for a position on the zoo staff. And if I can help it, I'll be at grad school in Missoula, Montana in a couple of years. Well, that is until I ship out with the Peace Corps. What can I say? I get around, but don't worry. It's in that upbeat, wholesome, beach boys kinda way. I'm looking for a few good queers in any of the above areas to participate in a wide variety of hijinx and shenanigans. That's all. Though I don't mind meeting anyone else along the way. Hey, I was born in a carnival. Literally. I've no right to judge strays. Message me. I don't bite. But I do drool alot. interests
