I'm BatGirl, and I regularly fight for truth, justice, and the American way. The American way has no place for discrimination or oppression. Therefore, I will continue to stand up and throw my batarang at those who oppose our values, such as The Penguin, Jerry Falwell, The Riddler, Dr. Dobson, Two Face, (name your Evangelical here), Bane, (name your Conservative Christian here), and others.
My favorite group is SOULFORCE, (www.soulforce.org), which has a primary goal of acquiring FREEDOM for Lesbian, Bay, Bisexual and Transgender people from RELIGIOUS and POLITICAL oppression through the practice of RELENTLESS NONVIOLENT REISTANCE. Soulforce uses the methods taught by M.L.King Jr. and Gandhi.
Currently, the major project of SOULFORCE is a two-month bus tour taking 52 riders to colleges and universities in the United States that have bans against openly Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender students enrolling or "coming out" while on campus.
